I opted for the Winter uniform for all, out of fashionable personal preference and because all had the same - only the colour base defines then a regiment, and one can experiment with different regt. sizes ... as some were notoriously under their nominal strength ...
The whole lot |
The Gruzinskiy Hussars |
The Garde a Cheval, look like Dargoons, but they weren't |
The Smolensk, Schlüsselburg and Moskov regiments |
the Artillery brigade (6pdrs) and some Pandurs |
... and the 3pdrs and some Pandurs |
and some howitzers |
the St. Petersburg, Novgorod and Ingermanlandskiy regiments |
the 1st Grenadier regiment |
the Leib Guard regiment Preobrazheskiy |
the 2nd Grenadier regiment ... |
the Vyatskiy Dragoons |
The Leib Guard Curassiers |
Fabulous showcase, Preobrazheskiy is gorgeous...and most impressive!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil! I might "fill" the understrength regts up after a while ... :)
DeleteLovely stuff. This is the level I want my Saxons to be made.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bart! yep its easy with Kronoskaf (flags, colouring etc.) ... How big would be your regts? 24 like the Austrians?
DeleteIndeed, thank you for Kronoskaf! 24 for Musketeers and Leibgrenadiergarde and 20 for rest of grenadiers. I am going to make 1 brigade of Grenadiers (3 regiments), 2 brigades of Musketeers (3 regiments each), 2 brigades of cavalry (1 of dragoons and 1 of cuirassiers) plus some artillery support. I thinking about the Tartar regiments and some Jaegers too.
DeleteWow! that‘s a lot of stuff!
DeleteBut you MUST do the Uhlans!!
